Recorded live at Arletta's Dry Cleaning and Dispensary, November 2023.
After a multi-decade slumber, the rarely heard and rarely seen noise duo, Media Exploitation Center, makes their return.
Why, you may ask?
None of your goddamn business, that's why.
Look, after years of being sidelined by life, distance, drama, hibernation, ill-advised forays into normal music, and all manner of other bullshit, MEC saddled up and got back to work with an all new set of weapons and a refreshed desire to blow out their goddamn eardrums and agitate the well-being of anyone who happens to be within the blast radius of their sonic assault. They are here to harsh all mellows. And after a 30-year break, they have a pretty sizeable backlog of mellows to harsh. .
So buckle up and listen along. This was recorded live to Reason at un-Reason-able volumes. Pizza, gummies, and beer were present. Thank you to Arletta for the space. Tell your neighbors that WE APOLOGIZE FOR NOTHING! Except for that front window. That was our bad and we promise to pay to have it replaced.
